Art is my passion !!!

As a child my favorite toys were a box of crayons and a coloring book. I began taking art lessons in 1976 thanks to my husband James. My lessons were an anniversary gift from him and they fulfilled a lifelong dream for me.

I joined a local art guild and entered juried competitions for 10 years and won numerous awards. I took more classes and workshops in the following years. I joined the National Decorative Painters Society in 1987 and in 1989 my original painted angel ornament was chosen to be displayed at the Smithsonian Institute on the Trees of Christmas display. The ornament is currently displayed at the National Decorative Painters Convention held in a different state each year.

I have taught some beginning art classes in my home. I am currently doing commissioned work and hope to have prints available soon. I believe that God has led me in every step of my life and my art work . My wish is that you will enjoy viewing my work as much as I enjoyed creating it. Please come back soon as I will be adding more paintings as they are completed.
